To celebrate their 10th anniversary and the release of their new series of 5" DIY Qee figures, Toy2R USA are putting on a party at Yoyamart, NYC. One of my MiniBear Qee customs is on its way across the Atlantic to be show there along others by Matt A, N3rviswreck, Rsin, alittlestranger and many more.

Spotted this image of the deck myself and Rost One designed for Yakwax in the Guernsey Press yesterday. There's no mention of the deck, the article is about the planned skate park at the Beau Sejour site, but nice to see anyway.

This weekend I have been putting the finishing touches on my contributions to 'Project Bear', a series of customs by CTU artists to promote Toy2R's new Mini Bear DIY platform, and it has just been announced that the series will be dropping in CTU's Shop on the 7th February.

Don't sleep on this! I am very proud of what I have produced for this project, and the lineup features some of my favourite customizers who I'm sure have killed it (no, I haven't seen the images yet either)!

If you want a clue to what I have been making, check out my recent 'Influences' posts... and here is a full gallery of my custom toy work.

I'm very proud to announce that I have been asked to produce 5 customs to coincide with the launch of the 5" Bear MiniQee! This project is a collaboration between Toy2R, the creators of the Qee and world-leaders in designer vinyl, and the Custom Toy Union, a forum of which I am a proud member.

The customs will be available to buy at the CTU Store in February.

Here's the official website, where pics of the customs will be posted by January 31st. There is also a thread on the subject over at CTU.

The show kicks off on the 21st November, and features some awesome artists from all over the world.

Thanks go out to Amanda for inviting me to be part of this show :-)

My inbox has been busy this week! My new Munny for the Munny Munth Contest has been featured on Kollectible Kulture, Hello Vinyl, Toy-Junkies and as 'Custom of the Week' on Custom Toy Union! Big up to everyone who has posted my Munny and to those who voted for it on the KidRobot Website.

I have also been asked to be a part of the Sketchbot Custom Show Vol II, an exhibition of Custom Sketchbots in Pasadena, California. I'm super stoked to be a part of this project, check out some of the amazing customs from last year here. The show should open in late November to coincide with Designer Con.

As if that wasn't enough excitement for one day, Chris Hackman from Two Feet Deep has asked me to make a custom Kokeshi Doll for his shop. I'll be sure to post it up on this blog when it becomes available.

Go to my Vinyl Toys page to see my entry and other custom toys.

I am away for the weekend to deliver some work for Art-El, which should be unveiled very soon, so watch this space!

Whew!
